Here’s J.P. Arencibia’s Divine Tim Kurkjian Impression, With Tim Kurkjian Looking On
ESPN’s Tim Kurkjian is a bit of an endangered species up in Bristol in that he comes across exceedingly genuine and endearing, and appears to love the sport of baseball as though it were an adoring family member. The enjoyable bonus of Kurkjian’s affable personality is of course his squeaky voice, one that’s frequently trapped in a state of overwhelming exasperation.
Here to celebrate that comical tone is Toronto Blue Jays catcher J.P. Arencibia, who is now my favorite player. Exceptional work.

Good to see someone who still has a sense of humor about himself. The anti-Lupica.

+1 Good to see him busting a gut off-camera. Lupica would have stormed off set or gave that goofy ass smirk

LoMo.
He’s funny, no doubt, but it’s like hearing a stand-up comedian too many times…same shit over and over.

I stopped following a bunch of Vikings and Twins players because it made me like them less. Some of them just came across as the biggest douche bags.

I’ve always been a big Kurkjian fan. dude loves baseball, and when something funny happens you can see him just lose it on camera with his voice getting higher and higher.
