NBA champion says Luka Doncic must take Lakers to Western Conference Finals
By Tyler Reed

The NBA postseason has arrived. On Friday night, the play-in tournament will wrap up, and first-round matchups will begin on Saturday, with the Milwaukee Bucks and Indiana Pacers getting the drama started.
Another team that will be in action on Saturday will be the Los Angeles Lakers. The Lakers will host the Minnesota Timberwolves in the first two games of their first-round meeting.
The thought of the Lakers running the table got a lot higher after the team made a historic trade for Luka Doncic.

Doncic has been a star since the first time he stepped on the floor for the Dallas Mavericks, and now, Lakers fans are hoping he can lead their team to a championship.
On Friday's edition of ESPN's 'First Take', three-time NBA champion Danny Green discussed that Doncic has to "at least" bring the Lakers to the Western Conference Finals.

Green believes that if Doncic struggles on the offensive side, that the Lakers may find themselves exiting the playoffs a lot earlier than they imagined.
Doncic is the present and future of the Lakers organization, so it would make sense that he would need to lead the team to victory.
The new Lakers star is no stranger to the Western Conference Finals. Just last season, Doncic led the Mavericks to the Western Conference Finals and an NBA Finals appearance. Don't expect Doncic to just lie down if the defense becomes too hard against him.
