Ronda Rousey Beat Liz Carmouche By… Armbar to Win the First Women’s UFC Title Fight at UFC 157
Ronda Rousey beat Liz Carmouche by armbar in the first ever women’s fight in UFC history. Rousey is now 7-0 with 7 first round armbars. Carmouche had Rousey in a choke early in the fight, but Rousey fought through it to do what she does every single freaking time.
Update: Here’s a gif of Carmouche’s near choke/neck crank via @DanChow11.

Great fight. Rousey is a cool ass chick and a great fighter.
Machida’s style is so fucking boring, I wish Hendo would have caught him. If Dana cut Fitch for being boring why can’t he cut Machida? Does anyone really think Machida can gives Jones a fight the next time around?

The ideal fight right now is Fitch/Koshcheck. A fight for relevance. Fitch being cut is pretty ridiculous.

I guess they may have been teammates at AKA. I don’t track that stuff.
