Strikeforce champion Ronda Rousey, who was an Olympian in Judo in both 2004 and 2008 (bronze), was interviewed recently about her Olympic experience. [h/t: Game On, USA Today]

She had plenty of advice for current Olympians, from using condoms to not taking too many clothes because you get plenty.

She said that Kobe Bryant was cool and nice based on her interactions with him in the cafeteria in Olympic Village. When asked about someone who may have a good public image but was not as nice, she immediately went off on Michael Phelps. “Michael Phelps kind of annoyed me a little bit,” she said. “We had this club thing . . . Michael Phelps needed his own private section of the club to be, like, private for him.” She added that the NBA players were a bigger deal than him, but were hanging out with everyone.

Rousey also takes a shot at swimming:

"Get over yourself. All you do is swim. If someone slapped you every single time you jumped in the pool, then I’d have a little more respect, but I was a swimmer before I did this (expletive), so you can’t tell me that swimming is ‘OH MY GOD’, because it’s not.”"
