Kyrie Irving attended Sunday's New York Knicks - Brooklyn Nets game at the Barclays Center as a fan because he can't play in home games thanks to one of New York City's remaining vaccine mandates. At halftime ESPN's studio crew discussed Irving's attendance, with Mike Greenberg describing his entrance as "dramatic."

Mike Wilbon wondered what the politicans who support the mandate might think of Irving possibly showing them up by sitting courtside for basketball games back-to-back days.

Stephen A. Smith said, "You can be so smart, you're dumb. It's an idiot move on the part of Kyrie. The mandate is wrong, Kyrie should be allowed to play, of course." Smith also wondered how politicians like Mayor Eric Adams might view Irving's actions.

Jalen Rose finally added, "Kyrie can really easily fix this by getting vaccinated."
