This is amazing. Dear Fox, please hire this man.

Pirates 3, Braves 2 (10 innings): In the only non interleague game of the day (these pathetic nerds couldn’t even get a date) the Pirates won on a Ryan Doumit solo shot with two outs in the 10th. Zach Duke has put together two great starts. He makes $4.3 million, so perhaps he’ll be rescued off the island come July.

Cubs 5, Rangers 4: Carlos Silva is 6-0. Carlos Silva is 6-0. If I’m a pitcher in the AL, I’m demanding a trade to the NL immediately. What a joke. Oh, but he beat an AL team. Now I’m really confused. Maybe it’s that lucky Cubs uniform.

Mets 6, Yankees 4: All it took was the presence of a team from the AL East for Jason Bay’s murdered bat to come back to life. Last night he hit two home runs and raised his average above .300. He had seven hits in 10 atbats in three games against the Yanks. Expect a hilarious array of emotions to blare through WFAN studios today.

Rockies 11, Royals 7: After 103 no-decisions in a row despite pitching well in each outing, Zack Greinke finally broke. He gave up seven earned runs in 3.1 innings. All in all, it’s just a highly depressing story.

Blue Jays 12, D-Backs 4: Jose Batista has seven home runs in his last nine games. He has 14 dingers on the year, already surpassing his total from last season. Let the Pez and Fun Dip rumors begin.

Cardinals 6, Angels 5 (10 innings): Albert Pujols had two errors. He’s a disgrace to the uniform.
