Royals 7, White Sox 6, 12 innings — Melky Cabrera was 3-for-6 with 3 RBIs including the game-winning hit in the 12th inning. It was KC’s fourth win of the season in their final at-bat, which is insane; doubly insane considering we’re talking about the Royals. Also, Alex Gordon!

Mets 7, Phillies 1 — Cole Hamels only lasted 2 2/3 innings. Things unraveled for him in the third when Chris Young of all people kickstarted things with a leadoff single. It was all downhill for the, at times, mentally fragile Hamels. Young also pitched well, as did the bullpen sans K-Rod. The Mets already have 3 wins!

Marlins 3, Nationals 2, 10 innings — This game is being included just to show that I care. Donnie Murphy won it with a bases loaded single, but what I found most interesting, and humorous, is that Jayson Werth dropped a shallow pop fly.

Twins 5, Yankees 4, 10 innings — Did anyone not go 10 innings last night? Simply put, the Yankees bullpen was an abomination. Leading the way was Rafael Soriano, who took the baton from CC (7 IP, 2 H, 0 ER) and promptly vomited on his great start. Andruw Jones, the lucky bastard, was awarded free onion rings:

Rangers 3, Mariners 2 — The Rangers are 5-0 and Alexi Ogando had a tremendous first career start. All is right in Arlington.

Angels 5, Rays 3 — Manny got booed by the “Tampa faithful.” Upton hated it.

Brewers 1, Braves 0 — Yovani Gallardo pitched a complete game, two-hit shutout. Please refrain from telling us if and when you drafted him in your fantasy league and how it’s affecting your current match-up.
