Wichita State played McGill (Canada) in an exhibition game on Tuesday. Shockers coach Gregg Marshall was ejected in the 2nd half after he berated the referees and picked up two technical fouls. Marshall fought off players and assistant coaches as he tried to get to the officials. A couple things set off Marshall.

According to the Wichita Eagle, center Rauno Nurger left the physical game with a concussion and required three stitches to his chin. Then there was the scorekeeping. On three occasions, the Shockers scored, but allegedly weren’t given credit for the points on the scoreboard. A Redditor also claims a player was shoved in the back right before Marshall lost it.

The one good that came out of the situation is that junior forward Darral Willis got to call Marshall “a strong old man.”
