The Chicago White Sox beat the Chicago Cubs on Tuesday, 3-0. The game at Comiskey Park gave fans an opportunity to celebrate Chris Sale. One guy wore a shirt that was way to small and held up a sign. And another guy put duct tape on the jersey to make it look like he had put it back together. Get it?

Of course, the joke is on the rest of the American League. The White Sox have now won 4 in a row while wearing their 1983-era throwbacks that they were forced to wear after Sale destroyed the 1976 throwbacks that fit funny. The White Sox are now 8 games back in the Central and just 6 back in the Wild Card. Chris Sale’s motivational tactic worked. Why would you ever trade this selfless leader of men?
