West Virginia's Skyler Howard Spit on Wendell Smallwood's Hand

There’s probably a good reason for why West Virginia quarterback Skyler Howard spit on running back Wendell Smallwood’s hand during crunch time of the Mountaineers’ victory over Texas Tech.  Whatever it is, I hope it doesn’t catch on.

I guess a little extra liquid on an already-gloved hand never hurt anyone. Then again, spitting is best left to baseball players — and they tend to aim at the ground.
