Wesley Bryan has played in two PGA Tour events this season; the FedEx St. Jude Classic and the Quicken Loans National, both were on sponsor’s exemptions and he made the cut in both. Bryan was a full-time member of the Web.com Tour until last week when he won his third event at the Digital Ally Open held at the Nicklaus Golf Club at LionsGate in Overland Park, Kansas and earned a three-win promotion.

Bryan’s previous two wins came at the El Bosque Mexico Championship and Chitimacha Louisiana Open and they guaranteed Bryan a spot on the PGA Tour next season, but with the third win he moved up immediately and was eligible to compete in the John Deere Classic and the Wyndham Championship next week.

Now, after many trick shot videos and three wins on the Web.com Tour, Bryan is the clubhouse leader at -12 after completing his second round.

Bryan is trying to become the first player to win his first PGA Tour event after earning a battlefield promotion from the Web.com Tour.
