Watch Both Sides of the Call That Informed Germain Ifedi He Was a Seattle Seahawk

Germain Ifedi was picked by the Seattle Seahawks with the final pick in the first round of the 2016 NFL Draft. It was an exciting moment for Ifedi and his friends and family. And agent. So exciting that the Seahawks thought he disappeared.

Turns out, all Ifedi heard was “Seahawks” and “John.” Via ESPN:

"“It could be a bill collector. You don’t know. You don’t know who’s calling you. If it’s the wrong person, you might lose it. But it was the right person. I heard John [Schneider], and I jumped out of my seat. I didn’t hear the last name. It could have been John anybody. I heard John, I was like, ‘It has to be the guy.’ It was one of the greatest moments of my life, if not the greatest moment of my life.”"
