Warriors Defeat Suns in a Ridiculously Wild Final 30 Seconds

At what point this season are we going to see this Golden State Warrior team do something wrong? Because we’re now 75 games in, and i’m pretty sure it hasn’t happened yet.

The Warrior ‘Freight Train From Hell’ continued its nonstop route to the playoffs last night, in a bonkers final 30 seconds that ultimately saw the home team come out on top vs. the Phoenix Suns 107-106.

With the Warriors down 104-102, and a little less than 30 seconds to play — chaos ensued…

LITTLE WARRIOR GIRL CAN PLAY FOR ME ANY DAY.

Ok, moving on… it wasn’t over. With the Warriors now up 105-104, Suns Head Coach Jeff Hornacek drew up this beautiful inbounds play to get Eric Bledsoe a layup … and the Suns took the lead again by 1.

Finally, 4.5 seconds left, Warriors down 1 with the ball … Harrison Barnes delivered the dagger.

Only in the NBA could a game be the television equivalent of Nyquil PM for 47 minutes and 30 seconds, and then end like this.

The finish was a sore, yet, common sight for Suns fans — as this marks the 15th time Phoenix has lost a game this season by 5 points or less. Their “tragic number” (combination of Thunder wins OR Suns losses before they are mathematically eliminated from the playoffs) is now down to 2.

Let’s take a moment to celebrate Happy Warrior Girl again… because she’s too awesome not to.
