Vin Scully will miss the Dodgers postseason following an unspecified medical procedure, the Dodgers announced. Per the LA Times, Scully was out the final weekend of the season because, according to the Dodgers, he had a cold. The Dodgers also say that the announcer is in good spirits and “resting comfortably.”

Scully is 87 years old and the plan has been for him to announce games next year, which would be his 67th year in the booth. Baseball fans everywhere are giving their best wishes that he makes it through all of this okay.
