VIDEO: Stephanie McMahon Promises "Repercussions" for Brock Lesnar

Brock Lesnar put his elbow into Randy Orton’s skull at SummerSlam Sunday night, and much of the day was spent wondering whether this storyline was real or fake. Maybe the result of the match was indeed intended, but the extent of the damage was unintentional? (There was even reportedly some backstage friction.)

In any event, WWE is now rolling with the violence in its storyline. They ran a gallery of photos of Orton getting his head stapled back together on their website, Shane McMahon tweeted that Lesnar went over the line, and on Raw this evening Stephanie McMahon reiterated her brother and also promised unspecified “repercussions.”

Again, now this is a full-fledged part of the storyline, and it will be interesting to see what direction they take Lesnar now that they’ve reinforced that even the biggest names on their roster are not above getting squashed by him in the ring.
