Dustin Johnson won his second tournament this year at the WGC-Bridgestone Invitational on Sunday. The win propelled him up to number two in the world golf rankings, just barely ahead of Jordan Spieth. It was a great way for the U.S. Open winner to follow up that first major victory and will likely send shivers down the rest of the field’s spines as they recognize that one of the most talented guys in the field is now at the top of his game.
But before Johnson heads off to prepare for the Open Championship at Royal Troon, he spent his fourth of July with fiancee Paulina Gretzky on a boat somewhere.
That back flip is just a little too close to that other boat’s propellers for my taste.
