The Packers and Rodgers are making nice: Remember last summer when we were all sure Aaron Rodgers would either retire or leave the Green Bay Packers? Then he decided to run it back for "The Last Dance" with his teammates? Well it's increasingly looking like that was several months of pointless speculation. Rodgers and the Packers have been downright cordial over the past few weeks.
On Thursday, the Packers hired Rodgers favorite Tom Clements to be their quarterbacks coach. It was a move solely aimed at appeasing their reigning MVP signal-caller. The franchise is also saying it has no plans to trade the superstar. For his part, Rodgers claims he's had some great conversations with the Packers lately.
Everyone is saying all the right things and it look more and more like Rodgers will be sticking with the only organization he has ever known. What an incredible waste of time this saga has been.
