Trent Richardson is one of the biggest NFL draft busts of all-time. He was drafted No. 3 overall by the Cleveland Browns. He was out of the league after three seasons (and 3.3 yards/carry) with the Browns and Colts. No one picked him up last season, after the Raiders released him on August 31st. But, he’s still confident.

Richardson, one of six running backs trying to make the Ravens’ squad, feels his experience has chastened him. He’s ready to fulfill his potential, with a hall of fame career.

"“Putting on a yellow jacket,” said Richardson, referring to making the Pro Football Hall of Fame. “People wrote him off, he came back and did some amazing things. He always had the pedigree. He just had to get back to the guy that we know.”"

Unnatural confidence is an ingredient of greatness. Though, Ravens would probably hope Richardson takes things one day at a time and focuses on making the team.
