Timmy Chandler Commits International Future to United States

To Yanks Abroad, Chandler denied he skipped the Gold Cup to keep his Germany options open.
"“No. That is absolutely not the reason why I missed the Gold Cup,” Chandler stated emphatically. “It is my goal and dream to represent the United States at the 2014 World Cup. What I said in March is true. I will absolutely not play for Germany. There is no way that will happen.”"
That’s one 2014 hurdle overcome. The U.S. might want to lock down this 20-year-old Darlington Nagbe fellow as well.
