Oklahoma City remains in a funk, having lost six of eight. Thursday in Golden State, they led by nine in the 3rd quarter, only to get blitzed in the 4th quarter, first by the reserves, then by Stephen Curry, and the Warriors improved to 55-5 with a 121-106 rout.

Maybe the 4th quarter collapse was due to it being a back-to-back (Wednesday, the Thunder choked late against the Clippers), but this is the stat that’ll be talked about all weekend: Oklahoma City has lost 10 games when leading after three quarters, tied with the Philadelphia 76ers for most in the NBA.

Spin from Thunder fans: Hey, they’ve got a rookie coach.

Reality: Kevin Durant wants to win titles now. He’s 27, and you know which star left the team that drafted them at age 26 to chase titles? LeBron. It worked out for him – two titles in four years. Why is Kevin Durant sticking in Oklahoma City this summer? They’re 0-3 vs the Warriors this season, and to get to the Finals, they’d have to beat the Spurs and Warriors … and then the Cavs. If they can’t beat the Warriors once in the regular season, how are they beaten them four times in a series?

Durant scored 32 points, collected 10 rebounds and had nine assists in defeat. Russell Westbrook: 22 points on 24 shots, and only 1-of-8 from deep. Curry scored 33 for the Warriors.
