This 9-Minute Fumble Sequence in Madden 16 is Oddly Beautiful

Some are calling this nine-minute fumble sequence in Madden 16 a “glitch.” I see it as the game wisely spicing up an otherwise boring 3-3 slugfest between the Arizona Cardinals and Carolina Panthers. It all starts innocently enough with Carson Palmer forcing a throw into tight coverage. The result is a Teddy Williams interception.

Then all hell breaks loose.

Now, a person shouldn’t be in the business of breaking down the dirty details of a such foolishness but I’d be remiss if I didn’t mention the obvious forward lateral that kickstarts the scrum. Had the digital officials been paying any attention at all, this physically draining sequence could have been avoided.

There’s no telling how many “woops” would elicit from Chris Berman in the real world. There’s a chance he wouldn’t survive the highlight.
