The Red Sox Traded Kevin Youkilis to the Chicago White Sox
By Ty Duffy

Youkilis, a three-time all-star, was a member of Boston’s World Series winning teams in both 2004 and 2007. The 33-year-old was hitting just .225/.311/.359 this season and had lost his third-base job to Will Middlebrooks.
He’ll likely play third for the White Sox, who have Paul Konerko and Adam Dunn locked in at 1st and DH.
Bobby Valentine substituted Youkilis for a pinch runner after his RBI-triple in the 7th inning to let him say goodbye.
Anyone who makes a changing his sox “joke” should be beaten with his or her own hackitude.
