The Michigan Football Facebook Page Got Hacked
By Ty Duffy

Fans of U-M Athletics: We want to acknowledge that our Facebook pages for Michigan Football, Basketball, and Athletics have been hacked.

The Michigan Wolverines had multiple Facebook accounts hacked. No word on whether this relates to the selfie stick ban that went into effect. Hopefully, the password was not “goblue.”
Those who “like” Michigan on Facebook were bombarded with some sexy content. With Donovan McNabb and Dolph Ziggler having their Twitter and Instagram accounts hacked respectively, we’re officially in trend piece territory.
For those curious, The Big Lead Facebook page has not been hacked and features some amazing content from this site. You should definitely “like” it.
UPDATE: Michigan claimed to have resolved the situation.
Thanks to diligent work on behalf of our partners at @UMich and at Facebook, we have resolved the situation and deleted any offensive posts.
