Team Philly Tops Team Melo, Highlights Ensue

There was another summer league exhibition game yesterday. The Battle of I-95 featured – among others – Carmelo Anthony, Chris Paul and LeBron James vs. Tyreke Evans, Jason Thompson and Hakim Warrick. The game took place at the famed Palestra in Philly and was streamed live on Sports Illustrated.com. Hopefully, NBA players keep doing stuff like this during the lockout. Plus, I think we’ll be headed toward a lot more streaming of summer league games next year. Hopefully that won’t be the next time we see these guys play. While LeBron had 43 points and 23 rebounds, haters will be happy to know that King James’ team blew a 4th quarter lead and lost to Team Philly, 131 – 122.
