Talking Windhorst/Fisher, T.O./Cris Carter, and Cam Newton Presser

Given that football has gone into its annual hibernation, we’re in the process of rebranding the Pigsplosion podcast to encompass other things than just NFL. This week, we started off by talking about broader dynamics of the story our site ran earlier where Brian Windhorst, extemporaneously and perhaps accidentally, brought rumors involving Derek Fisher and Tim Hardaway Jr. to light.

After that we discussed Terrell Owens not getting into the Hall of Fame, why that might actually be good for his branding, and his feud with Cris Carter. Finally, we sought to figure out why Cam Newton and Peyton Manning were the prevailing storyline from the Super Bowl as opposed to the dominant Broncos defense.
