Stephen Curry broke Kyle Korver’s record last night by making a three-pointer in his 128th consecutive game. Considering the way Curry is re-defining the art of long-range shooting, this streak will probably continue for the foreseeable future.

It’s an incredible feat for many reasons but the most important of them is that it made the Atlanta Hawks’ social media team address a three-year-old tweet.

Undeniably hilarious at the time, the smack talk now looks a little silly considering what Curry has become since it was sent. That’s not to mention the Golden State Warriors’ world title and the Hawks’ less successful postseason forays.

Corporate 101 dictated the Hawks address the backfired needling.

Just a reminder that the Dallas Mavericks Twitter guy got fired for using a gun emoji.

¯\_(ツ)_/¯
