SMU's James Proche Has Suggestively Short Football Pants

Southern Methodist punt returner James Proche has athletic legs and isn’t afraid to show them off on game day. I’d be hard-pressed to name a player who wears shorter football pants. Those things would run afoul of some conservative private schools’ dress codes.
While the high-and-tight look may be a fashion statement, it also serves a practical purpose. Here is the 100 meter field at last month’s Olympics. Do you see any baggy, over-the-knee pants?
