Kansas State at TCU: The Wildcats remain No. 2 in the BCS for now. Collin Klein is expected to start, though Kansas State isn’t saying a word. The NCAA needs injury reports. Not having them serves no benefit. The gamesmanship over controlling information is unbecoming and silly. Gary Patterson has termed this the “Custer” portion of the schedule. The 6-3 Horned Frogs close with Kansas State, Texas and Oklahoma. Could this first season in the Big 12 be Patterson’s last?

Mississippi State at LSU: Both teams are playing for a possible BCS bowl bid, though that may be a more realistic prospect for LSU. The Bulldogs have not won in Baton Rouge since 1991. This may come down to whether LSU has a let down after the Alabama loss or comes out to avenge it. It’s the 10th anniversary of The Bluegrass Miracle.

Notre Dame at BC: Notre Dame undefeated late in the game, facing Boston College in an afterthought game. Sounds familiar…

Georgia at Auburn: With a win, the Bulldogs clinch the SEC East crown. That said, they came out flat in the same situation at home last season against Kentucky. Will Auburn plays rally for Chizik? We’re guessing not.
