The first book, targeted for release in October, will focus on Leaf’s career at WSU. “It will cover four years, from the moment I decided to attend Washington State up through our Rose Bowl appearance in 1998,” Leaf said in a news release.

Another book will be a broader biography covering Leaf’s youth in Montana and troubled NFL career.

A third book will be about Leaf’s addiction to prescription painkillers, which resulted in a 2009 indictment after he coached quarterbacks for three seasons at West Texas A&M.

You know, this kind of sounds like Lord of the Rings. The NFL is Mordor and his career is the precious. Charles Woodson is Sauron and Peyton Manning is Aragon. And the pills are the Nazgûl.
