The first half of the NFC Championship Game was not a pretty affair, especially if you are a Seattle fan. Green Bay could be up more. They’ve kicked two field goals inside the Seattle 1 yard line, and Aaron Rodgers has thrown two interceptions, including one in the end zone as the Packers were in position to score.

Russell Wilson, meanwhile, has struggled mightily, throwing three interceptions in the first half, and not completing a pass to a teammate until the 2nd quarter. Only one quarterback–Craig Morton against the Cowboys in the Super Bowl in 1978–has thrown four first half interceptions in a playoff game in the Super Bowl era.

Wilson tied three other quarterbacks with three first half interceptions in a playoff game: Earl Morrall (Super Bowl III against the Jets), Jay Fiedler (against the Colts in wildcard round following 2000 season), and Ben Roethlisberger (wildcard round against Jaguars following 2007 season).

The five combined interceptions is also a record in the Super Bowl era for most in the first half of a playoff game.
