Rossouw de Klerk played rugby for the Glasgow Warriors of the Guinness Pro12 league until recently. de Klerk left the club for “personal reasons” a couple weeks ago after pleading guilty to a “breach of peace.” In April, de Klerk, 25, spoke to and gave his phone number to a 14-year old girl who was training near the players’ tunnel. This apparently happened after he had a fight with his pregnant wife. Via STV:

"However, he claimed he thought she was 17. When quizzed about why he had done this he said: “I had seen her around, but never spoke. I thought she looked like somebody I could have been friendly with. “I really felt she was someone I could talk to. After I gave her the number I immediately regretted it.” De Klerk also claimed he had been feeling low as he had had a minor row with his wife and needed someone to talk to."

With the case resolved, de Klerk is now free to join his wife and child at home in South Africa.
