David Gower is an NRL rugby player for the Parramatta Eels. During a recent game he suffered a compound fracture in his finger while making a tackle. That’s when the bone sticks out. Either fortunately, or unfortunately, depending on your personal level of depravity, they don’t show a super-close-up of the finger. Just close enough that you can see there’s something wrong. Gower immediately ran to the sidelines where a trainer took a quick look at sent him back out to finish the game. Seriously.
