Roy Hibbert Was Offered a Max Contract by the Trail Blazers

Now Portland’s offer is just an offer sheet since Hibbert is restricted, so the Pacers will have a three-day window to match the deal once the free-agent moratorium is lifted on July 11. Does Indiana have much of a choice here? He’s only 25-years-old, has steadily improved, and plays the nearly extinct position of center.
According to Sam Amick at SI, a mystery team has also gotten involved and offered Hibbert a max deal. Yes, it certainly is nice to be a capable 7’2 center.
