Rougned Odor Will Get an 8-Game Suspension for Punching Jose Bautista

The first suspension from the Rougned Odor-Jose Bautista fight has been handed down by MLB. Odor, who slugged Jose Bautista in the jaw after the latter took a hard slide into him, has been given an 8-game suspension, according to Jon Heyman.
Bautista’s suspension hasn’t been revealed yet. He violated the new slide rule on the play, going past the bag to instigate the brawl. That happened right after he was beaned by Matt Bush. I expect Bautista’s will not be as much as Odor, but will still be in the same range, and that others will receive smaller forms of punishment.
