Griffin missed a large part of his sophomore season with the knee injury, but came out right away this year and has been shooting up GM wish-lists as he continued to demonstrate a great deep throwing arm and excellent accuracy. The Rams will probably not be interested at #2, though they could trade the pick. Cleveland, Minnesota, Washington, Jacksonville, Buffalo, and Miami are all teams in the top 10 who could give Griffin a look, and it is doubtful he slips outside the top 4. He’s the clear second pick at quarterback heading into the draft season. With a degree in hand and the lofty projections, this was the likely choice.
