Rich Rodriguez Makes Fun Of Proposed 10-Second Snap Rule With Epic Speed Parody

By Ty Duffy

Rich Rodriguez was a noted critic of the proposed 10-second snap rule. Arizona decided to spoof it with a parody of the movie Speed, which came out three years before the kids they are currently recruiting were born. Rich Rod may or may not have taken some acting pointers from the real Keanu Reeves (It’s a bomb. We have to get out of here.) for his monologue.

It’s not clear how this makes sense, beyond the film being titled “Speed.” Not sure that matters. Bonus: villain who sort of resembles Bret Bielema.
