Remember Cody Paul? "The White Reggie Bush" Isn't Fielding Many Scholarship Offers

Remember this video from way back in 2007? Well, The Wiz of Odds has an update on the story of the kid that was once referred to as “the white Reggie Bush.” I’m sorry, I can’t move on until we talk about that. How awesome is it to call someone “the white Reggie Bush?” Especially, today when we just had the “White Michael Vick” controversy and Reggie Bush is currently the second leading rusher on the 0-4 Dolphins. That’s not a compliment. Thanks. I had to get that out of my system. Moving on.

Max Preps caught up with Cody Paul, who is now a 5-foot 5-inch senior running back. He still has some sweet highlights, but the college recruiters aren’t knocking down his door.

“The only school that’s actually contacted me was (Division I-FCS) Bryant University,” he said. “I got some other letters, one from Oregon, but Bryant is the only school I’ve talked to.”

Maybe teams just can’t afford him. #reggiebushjoke
