The first round of the Presidents Cup is in the books and it went about as expected. The U.S. won four of the five foursome matches against the Internation team. The only loss came in the Matt Kuchar and Patrick Reed group, which fell to Louis Oosthuizen and Branden Grace.

The second round, which starts at 10PM on Golf Channel, is a round of four-ball and will feature the same pairings for the U.S. — with the exception being Matt Kuchar and Patrick Reed, who are sitting out.

Needing only 15.5 points to win, the U.S. is, in International team captain Nick Price’s words,  “going for the kill” by keeping the same lineups. Price is right, and it’s pretty likely going to end up just about over on Saturday afternoon.
