Police Arrest Ken Pagan, Suspected Beer Can Thrower From Blue Jays Game

Ken Pagan has turned himself over to authorities after they identified him as the fan who threw a beer can onto the field during the American League Wild Card Game. Pagan has denied any involvement, but Toronto Police have charged him with one court of mischief.
The 41-year-old Pagan is a sports journalist for PostMedia, the company that owns the Toronto Sun. In a fun little twist of irony, the Sun offered a $1,000 reward to find the perpetrator.
The incident occurred as the Toronto Blue Jays and Baltimore Orioles were locked in a tight contest at the Rogers Centre Tuesday night. As Orioles outfielder Hyun-Soo Kim tracked a fly ball in the bottom of the seventh inning, a can of beer flung from the outfield stands landed perilously close to him.

Pagan is scheduled for a court appearance in November.
