Piers Morgan Reports Arsenal Offered Arsene Wenger New Contract

Morose celebrity Arsenal fan Piers Morgan is reporting(?) Arsenal have offered Arsene Wenger a new three-year contract.
I've been told on very good authority that Wenger's been offered a new 3-yr contract by Arsenal.

The 66-year-old Wenger has come under fire, after a disastrous run this new year knocked Arsenal out of the FA Cup, out of the Champions League and all but of the Premier League title race. Arsenal have qualified for the Champions League every year since 1997, but last won a title in 2004.
We can’t vouch for Piers’ sourcing. But, considering Stan Kroenke was reportedly negotiating an extension with Jeff Fisher and told the Sloan Conference he valued his teams functioning as “real businesses” over winning the past few months, a new contract offer seems more than plausible.
