Peter Gammons Compared A-Rod to the Boston Marathon Bombers, Apologizes For "poorly worded comp"
By Mike Cardillo

Peter Gammons was a guest on Mike Lupica’s radio show to talk about Alex Rodriguez. The Baseball Hall of Famer used a very unfortunate analogy to describe the Yankees third baseman’s fight against MLB.
“He wants to blow up the world. … He’s like the marathon bombers,” Gammons said.
Gammons has since apologized. The A-Rod circus has this kind of effect on people.
@craigcalcaterra It was a stupid, poorly worded comp of blowing up a process.Alex would never hurt a human . I hope I haven't hurt him
