Paul George Needs to Save the Pacers Tonight

Paul George had his worst game in weeks Sunday in Game 3 against Miami, scoring just 13 points and collecting just two rebounds in 41 minutes, while getting abused by LeBron James in the post. Oh. He had five turnovers, too. If he plays that poorly again, Indiana will have no chance.

Indiana’s recipe for victory tonight, free of charge, courtesy of yours truly:

1) If LeBron goes to the post early again, double him, and hope everyone misses shots (Miami probably won’t duplicate 54/42/85).

2) Continue to feed Hibbert (20-17) and West (21-10), who dominated inside again in Game 3.

3) Wild but effective Lance Stephenson needs to be much more active offensively, especially in transition. His Game 2 – 10 points, eight rebounds, five assists – was very good, but his Game 3 was a disaster (7-1-2).

I’ll take the Pacers, 89-87.
