Pat Riley Takes Forever to Compose Emails

Dwyane Wade on Friday was officially announced as the newest member of his hometown Chicago Bulls, making for a warm and lovely summer day in Chicago.
Down in Miami, though, where Wade seemed as likely as anybody in the NBA to stay with one team for his entire career, things are, in a rare twist, a little chillier.
Heat president Pat Riley said Saturday he hadn’t spoken to Wade about his decision. Instead, he has been crafting what must be one epic tome of an e-mail.
Pat hasn't spoken to Dwyane post-decision yet. "I've been crafting a very long email to him," Riles said.

Wade announced his decision 10 days ago, which means Pat Riley is either a really deliberate writer, or he’s still trying to figure out how to send his typewriter through space and time.
