Paige VanZant Brought a Cage Fighting Cage to Dancing With the Stars

Paige VanZant, 21, fights in the 115-pound women’s division in the UFC. She’s currently doing fairly well on the latest season of Dancing With the Stars. VanZant is the third UFC fighter to appear on the series, following Randy Couture and Chuck Liddell.

Liddell was in the audience on Monday to watch VanZant and partner Mark Ballas turn in another solid performance with this cage-fighting-themed paso doble. I’m not sure if I’ll ever watch another MMA bout where I am not hoping that the participants dance instead of fight. I mean, what is a fight, but a violent dance? It’s, like, a metaphor or whatever.

Meanwhile, the three NFL-related contestants – Von Miller, Antonio Brown, and Doug Flutie – all put up 20’s and finished just ahead of Mischa Barton who was voted off the show.
