Ohio State's D'Angelo Russell Threw a Ridiculous Pass, Sam Thompson Blew the Layup

Ohio State’s freshman guard D’Angelo Russell has been very impressive this season. He’s currently the Big Ten’s third-highest scorer and is dishing out five assists per game.

He showed he also has a flair for the dramatic by delivering this gorgeous pass to a streaking Sam Thompson during the first half against Iowa. Sadly, his brilliance won’t show up on the stat sheet because Thompson bricked the short-range shot.

The good news for Russell is that the beautiful bounce is showing up sports blogs, which is also pretty damn important.
