Ohio State Players are Personalizing Autographs to Protect Against "Sharks Trying to Make Money"

The Ohio State Buckeyes are employing an interesting strategy to protect themselves from becoming embroiled in an autographed memorabilia scandal. Running backs coach Stan Drayton shared the plan a day before OSU competes for college football’s top prize.

Take that, sleazy memorabilia dealers. Good luck selling a Cardale Jones autograph made out to Barbara or a Joey Bosa signature dedicated to “my pal Dave.”

It’s sort of sad things have gotten to the point where this type of policy would be necessary, but here we are.

Other people making money off college athletes is not what the NCAA is all about. Don’t forget to tune into ESPN to watch Ohio State and Oregon tomorrow night in the College Football Playoff National Championship presented by corporate partner AT&T.
