Odell Beckham Pulls Up on Route Over the Middle, Can You Blame Him?

The Giants and Jets met in a preseason game on Saturday. In the first quarter, Eli Manning tried to hit Odell Beckham over the middle. Realizing that laying out would mean impactful contact, Beckham cut his route short and the ball was intercepted by Darrelle Revis:

I don’t think I can blame Beckham for this. If I were a Giants fan, this is exactly what I’d want him to do in a preseason game. The injury risk is just not worth it.
