NFL Picks Against the Spread: Playoff Implications and Quitters

Picking five NFL games against the spread each week is terribly difficult. We’re using lines from the Hilton SuperContest, and remember, 57 percent is considered good. CineSport’s Noah Coslov went 2-3 last week to fall to 27-38 on the year. Jason had another 1-4 and fell to 39-26*.

Dammit to hell. My Thanksgiving weekend was ruined when I rushed my Week 13 picks because I loved two turkey games: The Cowboys and the 49ers. You know what happened — neither showed up at home, and both were done at halftime. I was so dejected I haven’t looked at the Supercontest standings and avoided the lines for most of the week. A 1-4 in a big spot late in the season will do that to you.

Maybe it’s because we didn’t talk about the picks on video!

Here are some trends from Oddsshark. There are six home dogs this week. Do with that information what you will.

If you’re wondering how I have four more wins in these videos than in the Hilton Supercontest contest, I sadly explained the reasoning here.
