NBA Players Can Honor Flip Saunders, NFL Players Can't Honor Their Dead Parents
By Jason McIntyre

Kobe Bryant was just one NBA player who honored recently-deceased NBA coach Flip Saunders with a t-shirt Wednesday night. Kobe wore it in the pre-game layup lines, and then while on the bench.
There’s zero indication he’ll be fined by the NBA.
The NFL is fining players for honoring their cancer-fallen parents. The NBA fully endorsing tributes to Flip

Reminder: The NFL is fining players who attempt to honor their deceased parents by wearing a certain color of cleats (for domestic violence) or eye black (cancer). Just shameful, Roger Goodell. And if you hear anyone counter with, “but if you let one person do it …” no, it doesn’t work that way.
William Gay's mother killed in act of domestic violence. Last two Octobers, worn purple cleats to bring attention to DV. Today, fined $5787.
