Nate Diaz to UFC President Dana White: "Shutup b----"

UFC 219 takes place on December 30th on what is annually one of the UFC’s biggest weekends. The card could have been bigger had the UFC been able to make a rumored fight between welterweight champion Tyron Woodley and Nate Diaz. Earlier this week UFC President Dana White said that the fight was never really an option. Nate Diaz responded by putting a video on Instagram. That video featured White’s denial followed by footage of Diaz slapping White. The caption reads:

"Shutup bitch. Your both thirsty …. And why is u lying"

The simple truth behind this is that the UFC likely briefly tried to make the fight happen, but Nate Diaz wants to get paid if he’s going to step back into the octagon. In September Diaz’s manager, Richard Perez said that Diaz would get $20-$30 million for a trilogy fight with Conor McGregor. Last month he said that Diaz had turned the fight down because the UFC didn’t want to pay his (guesstimated) $15 million price tag. Expect replays of this type of back-and-forth for the foreseeable future.
